Privacy Policy
Volunteers will:
Service & Conduct

Provide best-in-class service and support to the fullest of their capability and capacity.

Act in a professional, respectful, and ethical manner at all times.

Treat all individuals with dignity, compassion, and without discrimination.

Represent Faith Forward positively in all interactions.

Serve freely and voluntarily.​
Financial & Legal Boundaries
-
Provide support free of charge and without expectation of money, gifts, favors, or compensation.

Never request or accept payment from a Need Requestor.
-
Not participate in or support illegal, unsafe, or unethical activity.
-
Not transport individuals, provide childcare, medical, financial, or legal advice unless pre-approved and properly qualified/licensed.
Privacy & Safety
-
Keep private information strictly confidential.
-
Use personal information (address, phone, etc.) solely for fulfilling the approved need.
-
Never share photos, stories, or personal information without written permission.
-
Maintain healthy boundaries at all times.
-
Avoid one-on-one situations that could create misunderstanding or risk when possible.
-
Remove themselves immediately from any unsafe or uncomfortable situation and notify Faith Forward Staff.
Integrity & Accountability

Notify Faith Forward Staff or Board Members of:

Any immoral, illegal, or unsafe activity
-
Any situation that conflicts with Christian values
-
Any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation

Use sound judgment and the heart of Christ while serving.
Needs & Support Requestors
Honesty & Transparency
-
Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information about their need.

Update Faith Forward if circumstances change.
-
Not misrepresent their situation for financial or material gain.
Respect & Conduct
-
Treat volunteers and staff with dignity and respect.
-
Communicate in a timely and appropriate manner.
-
Not request additional support outside of the approved need.

Maintain appropriate boundaries with volunteers.
Financial & Ethical Boundaries
-
Not offer payment, gifts, or compensation to volunteers.

Not solicit volunteers for unrelated business, services, or ongoing personal requests.

Not request assistance that involves illegal, unethical, or unsafe activities.
Safety & Privacy
-
Provide a safe environment for volunteers entering their home.
-
Disclose any safety concerns (pets, weapons, hazards, etc.) in advance.

Respect the privacy of volunteers and not use their personal information outside of service coordination.
Accountability
-
Accept that Faith Forward reserves the right to decline or discontinue assistance.
-
Provide feedback when requested to improve services.
Faith Forward Staff
Leadership & Integrity

Act in accordance with Biblical principles and Christian values.

Lead with humility, fairness, and accountability.
-
Avoid favoritism, conflicts of interest, or personal gain from ministry operations.

Disclose any potential conflicts of interest immediately.
Stewardship
-
Ensure responsible stewardship of donations and resources.

Maintain transparency in financial management.
-
Follow all applicable federal, state, and nonprofit regulations.
Confidentiality & Data Protection

Protect all personal and sensitive information.
-
Use secure systems for storing and sharing data.
-
Only share information on a need-to-know basis.
Volunteer & Requestor Safety

Screen and vet volunteers appropriately when required.
-
Clearly communicate expectations and boundaries.
-
Intervene promptly if safety, ethical, or legal concerns arise.
-
Document incidents appropriately.
Non-Discrimination
-
Provide services without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, or socioeconomic status.
Accountability
-
Maintain a reporting system for concerns or grievances.
-
Review and update policies regularly.
-
Remove individuals from participation if conduct violates Faith Forward standards.
